The HMC Orchestra is a 70+ member ensemble that rehearses Monday nights from 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM. The HMC Orchestra is geared towards musicians of all ages and skill levels. Past repertoire has included Tchaikovsky’s 5th Symphony, Ravel’s Bolero, New World Symphony, and much more! Local artists and budding composers collaborate annually to put together a project known as Inventions.

“Each of us is invited to participate as we are, with whatever abilities we possess, to give as much as the music compels us to give.  We aren’t a perfect orchestra, but we are united by a shared love of the great music we fearlessly (if not flawlessly) play.” – Rebecca, Violin

“You guys are all young. You could be my grandchildren. But nobody seems to mind! Nobody makes me feel like an old lady and I love that.” – Jo Anne, Bassoon
